However, centre-aligning the mention in this set-up the mention won't be put in the centre of the page width, but only in the centre of the bigger cell. The other, much bigger cell holds the text of the mention. In even headers this will be on the very left side of the table and in uneven headers it is on the far right side. I am actually already using a table in the header. This will allow you to have left- and right-aligned items in your header as well. Then, place the mention in the center cell, and center align it. Instead, the former paragraph style will appear with a diamond symbol indicating it style reverted turned into a document style. Whenever I modify a paragraph style assigned to an auto-title, the changes are not reflected in the auto-title format. Since two lines in a header are tyographically questionable anyway, this would certainly the perfect solution.Ģ. I could use "Title" as heading format and "alternative title" as mention. But it would allow for the creation of a short title that would fit in one line. This should work the same way as the "Title" item. ![]() One thing that came to my mind would require a new feature in the auto-title set up: The addition on a new auto-title item called "alternative title". Since I can't edit the text itself, there is no way of adding a tab in the second line. While this certainly is the expected behaviour, I d'like to keep the mention centred. Now, whenever a mention title runs too long and the text breaks to the next line, it won't be centre aligned any more. The mentions are centre aligned using the respective centre tab. I have set up my document with even/uneven page headers in which I use mentions of chapter headings (uneven pages) and section headings (even pages). I ran into two issues re auto-titles to which I seek a solution:ġ.
